Syria Baby Milk Appeal

Umayah, Abdullah, Asmaa and Uthmaan are four children in Leicester who got together to raise money to buy milk for children in Syria. So far they have raised well over £5,000. They said. ‘We are very lucky milk is readily available for us and we can have as much as we want. Unfortunately these Syrian refugee children and families have very little food and milk is hard to come by. Milk is full of nutrients as we know and helps us have strong healthy bones and teeth. Wouldn’t it be great if they could too?

Caravan of Mercy are distributing tins of milk in Ramadhan this year. Each tin is costing £3.25. Please help us raise as much as possible so these lovely children can also have milk for a special Eid treat!
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) has said: “A charity is due every day from every joint of the body (as a means of showing gratitude to Allah for our body and good health). To act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man to ride his animal or vehicle, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity; a good word is a charity; and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity.” (Al-Bukhari, Muslim)
The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: A persons wealth will never decrease from giving in charity (Tirmidhi).
Excess funds will be donated to the children of West Africa.
