We are facilitating a container to Syria with aid in preparation for winter.
We are collecting the following:
Warm Clothing
Bedding – please do not donate new bedding, it would be preferable to donate your old bedding or make a cash donation and it will be cheaper to buy new bedding closer to Syria.
Pots & Pans & other kitchen items (good condition items only please)
Stationary & coloring books to keep the children occupied and take their mind off the cold.
Items will be accepted until lunchtime on Sunday, after that there may not be space for your items.
If you or someone you know is able to volunteer time between 10am – 6pm Saturday / Sunday to help load, that would be fantastic (males only please)
Keep someone warm this winter.
A donation of £5.00 towards the transport cost is necessary to ensure transport costs are met.

We heard this beautiful Hadeeth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and it made us think of the blanket for Syria appeal that we are running.
The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, “A Muslim is a brother of (another) Muslim, he neither wrongs him nor does hand him over to one who does him wrong. If anyone fulfills his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfill his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection” (Bukhari, Muslim)
