Syria: Winter Food packs: January 2020-1

Winter Appeal*

When a person is poor and too cold, their health determinates and the whole family now has another burden to deal with.

This will be another difficult winter for many needy Ughurs, Syrians, Rohingya, Indians and Bangladeshis. Caravan of Mercy, with your help, will be distributing blankets and food to the poor and needy Inshallah.
Give what you can to ease the hardship that this season can bring.
Blankets are approximately £6 each while food packs are approximately £30.

We are unable to cover your online card payment (Credit or Debit card) processing fees. This must be paid by you the donor and can be viewed at the checkout page. The checkout page also gives you the option of making a bank transfer (which does not incur any charges). Please note: card processing companies charge for payments not the charity.

Please see below for additional project information.

Since the Syrian civil war officially began March 15, 2011, families have suffered under a brutal conflict that has killed hundreds of thousands of people, torn the nation apart, and set back the standard of living by decades.
There are approximately 67,000 Uighur in Turkey due to the ethnic cleansing which has taken place in China.
The areas where we work in Bangladesh (Sunamganj and Sirajganj) and India (West Bengal) there are many poor and needy families who are ill equipped to face the cold winter months.
With your help, we can make life a little more bearable for these Muslim communities Inshallah.

Emergency Refugee Crisis Appeal

The ongoing crisis in the Middle East and North Africa is forcing thousands of families to flee from their homes in search of refuge.

In many places, local services are straining to meet the needs of the vulnerable people arriving. Those that cannot be accommodated in the swelling camps sleep on the streets.
For many years Caravan of Mercy has been providing aid to families in Syria, and we now aim to assist the refugees too.

Donate now and together we can make a difference!

£50 will provide a family with much needed supplies of food and clothing.

Support this appeal. Donate your Zakah, Sadaqah and Lillah today.

Clothing Distribution to the Syrian Refugees

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: Any Muslim who gives a Muslim a garment to wear will be in Allah’s safekeeping as long as a shred of it remains on him. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi)

The clothes you donate will not be sold or recycled, instead we sort them and ship them directly for distribution to those who need it most.

For us to effectively carry out the clothing distribution project we request donors to contribute a sum of £5.00 per black bag. The £5.00 is used to cover the shipping and administration costs.

Blanket Distribution at Atmeh Camp, Syria

Blanket Distribution at Atmeh Camp, Syria

Some of the conditions the Syrian refugees have to live in is beyond our imagination.
They were forced to leave their homes and adapt to life without basic needs to keep them warm and safe.
Some of the Duas (prayers) the Syrian refugees give is very moving.

You can still donate towards the blanket appeal >>
